We narrowed down our research to minimise both the issues of pollution from inadequate recycling of cooking oils and the production of petroleum-derived candles, using paraffin.
The beginning of the search for the requirements for creating sustainable candles, based on recycled cooking oil, whose appealing aspect will be achieved through experiments using the addition of filtered oils from fruit and vegetable peels. This includes the treatment of filtered oils, the addition of essences, and solidification.
